Athens Stock Exchange opening: Drop
Equity prices were falling on Tuesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE). The basic share price index was marginally down 0.17 percent, standing at 891.43 points at 11.10 and turnover was at 6.55 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 0.28 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was down 0.26 percent.
On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Raw Materials (+1.85 percent) and in Construction (+0.50 percent). The heaviest losses were in Travel (-1.42 percent) and Health (-1.41 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 36 were up, 33 were down and 7 were unchanged.
