Turkish F-16s infringe Athens FiR; fly over Farmakonissi and Agathonissi
A pair of Turkish F-16s on Thursday infringed the Athens Flight Information Region (FIR) and flew over the island of Farmakonissi at 19,500 feet at 10:58, and then seven minutes later over the island of Agathonissi at 5,500 feet, the Greek National Defence General Staff said.
The Turkish military aircraft were recognised and intercepted by Greek fighter jets, according to international rules.
