Gennimata's family prefers donations to charity instead of wreaths
The family of Movement for Change (KINAL) Fofi Gennimata, who died on Monday aged 57, has requested that instead of wreaths donations be made to charities Kivotos tou Kosmou (Ark of the World) and Chamogelo tou Paidiou (Smile of the Child).
Gennimata will lie in state at the Athens Cathedral on Wednesday before burial on the same day at the First Cemetery of Athens. By government decision, she will be buried with the honors of an active minister at state expense.
