Iliopoulos: The real opinion poll is that most can't make it through the month
"With the Mitsotakis government, the situation is constantly getting worse and the real opinion poll, which nobody can dispute, is that a majority of citizens can't make it through the month," main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance spokesperson Nasos Iliopoulos said in an interview with Real FM on Tuesday.
"With a progressive government things could go differently and this is why we are demanding immediate elections," he added.
The spokesperson strongly criticised the government, saying that "since October, it has refused to activate instruments such as a reduction of the Special Consumption Tax for fuel and natural gas, in order to deal with high energy prices."
