PM Mitsotakis meets with editor in chief & founder of Shedia street magazine Christos Alefantis

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met at Maximos Mansion with Christos Alefantis, editor in chief and founder in 2010 of the street magazine 'Shedia', the only Greek street magazine and member of the international network of street magazines. 'Schedia' is published by Diogenis NGO.

During their meeting they discussed the NGO's actions to support homeless and socially marginalized people to help them reintegrate in society, while they also discussed the role sports can play in this effort. Alefantis informed the PM that the NGO had applied to host the world cup of the homeless in soccer games in Athens in 2027, while Mitsotakis expressed his personal support in the bid.

The meeting was attended by State Minister to the Prime Minister's Office Akis Skertsos, Alternate Education, Religion & Sports Minister Yiannis Vroutsis, and State Deputy Giorgos Stamatis.
