George Soros: “Surprisingly positive developments in Ukraine”
When an international speculator, like the tycoon George Soros, hurries to describe the outcome of developments in Ukraine, with a article-intervention, then something is amiss in the supposed “victory of democracy” patchwork of neo-Nazi, paramilitary Israeli, over German boxer and corrupt Ukrainian political adventurers, such as Yulia Tymoshenko. Sorros wrote that the “surprisingly positive” developments in Kiev, as the elected President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych was sacked and supported Merkel and DNT for the full economic subjugation of the Ukrainian people.
“After a terrifying increase of violence, the Ukrainian uprising had a surprisingly positive effect. Against all reasonable projections, a group of citizens, armed with nothing more than sticks and shields made out of cardboard boxes and trash metal, managed to bend the police force using live ammunition. There were many casualties, but citizens prevailed. It was one of those historic moments that leave a lasting imprint on the collective memory of society”.
In the same time, important videos of testimonies from citizens and from “volunteers” in movement of protest against government violence inundate the internet having “sponsor” the foundation “Open Society Foundation”. Reading between the lines, Soros confirms that the uprisings favors the side with more money, at least temporarily, until the people actually take the case in their hands.
The “Open Society Foundation” is active for many years in Ukraine, since the early 1990s, even before the independence of Ukraine after the breakup of the Soviet Union, as Soros confirms. He has sniffed out the critical geostrategic position of the country, because he created the “Renaissance Foundation”, which aims at promoting and creating a “open society” at the standards of Popper.
In the beginning of the last decade, as the Western powers wanted to bring make their own camps in Ukraine , the so-called “orange revolution” broke out with the support of MKO, which includes Soros. Of course, Soros denies involvement within the institution in both past and in recent riots in Kiev: “The institution didn’t take part in the recent uprising, but defended those who have been targeted by government repression. The foundation is now ready to support the deep desire of Ukraine to establish durable democratic institutions. But Ukraine will need outside help, that only the European Union can offer: experts in management and access to markets”.
At this point he starts the guidelines: “Now, after the commitment of the Ukrainian people for closer ties with Europe, the EU with the DNT finance a multi-million dollar fund to save the country from collapse”. But this is not enough for Soros.
“I hope and believe that Europe under the leadership of Germany will stand up to the challenge . For years, I argue that Germany must accept the responsibilities and obligations that arise from its dominant role in Europe. Nowadays Ukraine needs a modern equivalent of the Marshall Plan, that the U.S. used to rebuild Europe after the second World War. Germany has to play its role”. Does this remind you of something?
It seems that the project is of international opportunists is common for all countries, who want to get to reduce their influence. In Greece there was no need for a bloodshed, as the compliance to DNT and the control of international lenders was made in the most formal way, from the Greek government of G. Papandreou. But it seems that in front of interests, they don’t hesitate in front of losses of human lives, something that happened in Ukraine.
