But as was mentioned in the "Imerisia" newspaper, the "fairytale" story of Christmas that was repeated in Easter is a lie.

As the butchers denounced, "These wealthy ladies go to the same stores. They never come to our stores... ".

It looks like a fairy tale...

And how not to look like a fairy tale, as this is happening for the second time in the same way and mostly when no one can prove it.

The first time was the eve of Christmas past, when five ladies went on the market of the poor and donated turkeys worth 20,000 Euros.

The difference in the sum has to do with the type and weight of the meat. On Holy Wednesday they distributed lambs and on the eve of Christmas, turkeys. Maybe it has to do with the number of women: Ten in Easter, five in Christmas.

According to the newspaper report, the sensitive ladies that come to Varvakeio for.... sponsorships, is nothing more than an elaborate story, a butchers' "fib" in their trying to attract consumers in their shops.

A story supplied to the press, initially at a media tool with the "sole issue" on festive days, when the Varvakeios market is trying to sell. Almost immediately most news sites are reproducing the story.

When the rumor for free meat is spread, several people visit the Varvakeio to shop. Although, as complaining butchers: "These wealthy ladies always shop in the same shops. They never shop in our shops ... ".

The paradoxes

The story is front page and on channels without cost! How can ten women to arrive with luxury cars in Varvakeio, an area full of traffic, to hand out money to people ... and in such a crowd not a single person took a photo with his cell phone?

And even the second time (after the "visit" of Christmas) again not found anyone to capture the whole scene".

In Christmas, had spread the rumor that behind the appearance of the "Ladies in jeep", was a powerful business family of the country, but that rumor quickly proved unfounded.
