In a statement - message to NEWSBOMB, one of the most important - in life - thinkers of the 20th century calls the Greeks to show resistance to the austerity policies imposed by Germany. "You must resist. I know it has cost, but hardly called a republic what we live today. In many countries in Europe, and in Greece in particular, there are no political forces that can express the people", stated on newsbomb.gr the famous linguist Noam Chomsky.

Noam Chomsky sends parallel message against austerity policies that "crushed" ,as he says, countries and republics, while he is not hiding his anxiety about the rise of neo-Nazism and in general of the extremes in Greece.

Although the analogy of the situation which our country is experiencing with the situation in Germany in the 1920s and 1930s is rather excessive, the distinguished linguist does not hide his anguish for the phenomena of resentment that feels a large part of the people towards the political staff.

"The crisis rears Nazism and the rise of the extreme right in your country. There have been many incidents and the worse it referred to Nazism. If you look at what happened in Germany in 1928, Hitler took less than 3% of the votes and after a few years the country has plunged to the bottom of human history. People had been hit by the recession; they could not leave and revived nationalism due to the unjust laws. Political parties did nothing, had been humiliated. And suddenly there appeared a charismatic leader with power. You know what happened next. When people are suffering intolerable oppression, 'breaks', " says the great thinker of the 20th century.

Noam Chomsky answers for scenario of Greek exit from the Euro-zone, noting that is an option that could be detrimental to the country. "It's a possibility. However, it has a drawback. The exit from the Euro-zone has harmful consequences. So it should be evaluated."
