Medical emergency team from ISA

The group was created for the direct, quick and effective medical intervention in emergency situations related to earthquakes, floods, fires, natural disasters or provocative attacks and protests of massive threat to human life. It contains specialized staffing physicians, who received special training in the National Center. The President of ISA, Giorgos Patoulis , said that "this is a group of doctors with highly specialized knowledge in life support that decided to offer their services voluntarily, in the struggle to rescue human life, where and when necessary".

On his part, the Governor of the National Center, Panos Efstathiou, thanked the President of ISA for the opportunities afforded to fellow doctors adding that "as a member of ISA I'm honored from the existence of such an initiative". The group is part of the national planning, as laid down in the course of implementing contingency plans by the General Secretariat for Civil Protection and EKEPY in collaboration with local medical associations.
