MH17: The train carrying passengers' bodies arrived in Kharkiv

The train carrying the bodies of Malaysian airliner's crash victims arrived in the east Ukrainian city of Kharkiv.

"The train has recently arrived. Everyone, including city officials, came to meet it," the information service said.

The Kharkiv Region administration held a meeting chaired by Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister, Maxim Burbak, to discuss formalization of necessary documents and logistics issues related to the bodies' transportation.

A total of 272 bodies - out of 298 killed passengers - were found at the crash site of the Malaysian passenger airliner in east Ukraine, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said on Monday.

"According to the latest figures provided by the Ukrainian State Service for Emergency Situations, 272 bodies were found, of which 251 bodies are in refrigerators at the Torez station," he said.

According to Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak the bodies will be handed to Dutch representatives in Kharkiv, as two thirds of the victims were Dutch.
