Wildfire burns grassland near Iraklio on Crete
A wildfire broke out shortly after noon on Friday in grassland near the village of Profitis Ilias, close to Iraklio, on the south Aegean island of Crete.
The firefighting efforts by 36 firemen operating six fire engines are being hampered by the strong winds blowing in the region.
