Paris: Shooting at satirical French magazine Charlie Hebdo

According to "20 Minutes", two masked armed men entered the offices and opened fire, at around 11:30 (French time).

The men shouted "the Prophet has been avenged", according to the website of the newspaper Le Point.

The authorities have unleashed a manhunt in the French capital.

An employee of the magazine talked about "real massacre."

According to the iTele, there are 10 dead, while some employees took refuge on the roof of the building, and have posted the above photo in Twitter.
According to BBC the armed men had Kalashnikov guns and rocket launcher.

Police and ambulances rushed to the point of the attack, while there are fears that the death toll will rise.

As announced by French presidency, Francois Hollande will visit the point of the attack and has convened an emergency cabinet meeting.

The satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo is known for publishing controversial cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed in 2011, and has recently published a cartoon with the leader of the Islamic State, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
