KKE's Koutsoumbas on the government policy

Opposition Communist Party (KKE) general secretary Dimitris Koutsoumbas on Friday underlined that the government has entered a new agreement for the extension of the loan contract which, among others, provides that "the memorandums and all the laws voted in the Greek parliament will not be touched, while in the next four months it will be decided what cost estimated measures will be taken and whether they will get the approval of the partners and the troika in order to have a new agreement."

Speaking on "Athina 984" radio, he noted that the discussion over the "memorandum" name is a "mockery" reminding that Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and his part SYRIZA used to say that "loan contract and memorandum are the same thing."

Koutsoumbas also underlined that equivalent measures that will be paid by the people are likely to be imposed soon.
