Power utility union to hold protest rally on Tuesday
The union of employees in Greece’s dominant power utility, GENOP, will hold a rally on Syntagma square on Tuesday to protest the transfer of company shares to the new privatization fund.
GENOP says in its press release that the consequences for the employees and society will be dire as it expects "large wage cuts and layoffs".
The rally has been scheduled for 18:00.
