Tsipras: Reform efforts will soon be reflected on the economy
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, addressing a meeting on Thursday (22/12/2016) for the operation of the investments superfund, stressed that it will contribute to the succesful activation of investments.
The impact of the fund is expected to overcome one billion euros, Tsipras underlined. The fund will contribute to dealing with the pathogenies of the economy and more particularly the migration of young people and scientists, he added.
The fund is an investment platform which will have a multiplier effect on the economy, said the prime minister.
The country, after seven years of continuous recession that has led to the shrinking of 1/4 of GDP, now stands on the threshold of foundational development, he underlined.
We are at the point that the reform efforts will be reflected in the indicators of the economy, said the prime minister. "Greece offers significant investment opportunities," he added.
