Short-term measures on debt possibly activated early 2017, gov't sources say
Short-term measures for the debt will be possibly activated early 2017, government sources said and confirmed that these measures are not related to the conclusion of the second programme review.
The same sources said that the institutions need to ask in written for clarifications regarding the pensions so that the Greek side provides the necessary information.
Meanwhile, Finance ministry sources confirmed that the Euroworking Group meeting did not take place yesterday.
The deliberations between the Greek authorities and the institutions continue on Thursday so that the issue regarding the short-term measures for the debt is solved as soon as possible, EU sources said.
