Job insecurity and uncertainty on the rise, report says
Around six out of 10 workers (59 pct) do not expect any positive development in their wages, while a 39 pct said it felt insecurity for the job positions, according to a poll released by GSEE, the country's largest trade union umbrella, on Wednesday.

The poll, conducted by the Labour Institute of GSEE, showed that a 33 pct of workers said their jobs have changed after the pandemic, a 19 pct said that they continue their house work after the pandemic and a 14 pct said they worked part-time or flexible hours. An 18 pct of workers said their employers asked them to continue working while their labor contracts were suspended during the lockdown. The report said that the employment security indicator has fallen by 17 points, evidence of the great insecurity and uncertainty prevailing in the labour market.
