KINAL: The civil protection mechanism failed in Evia

"Νew Democracy's government and the responsible for the civil protection are solely responsible for tragic results of the flash flood on Evia" said opposition Movement for Change (KINAL) on Monday.

"Today's civil protection mechanism failed and unfortunately our proposals for the creation of an effective prevention mechanism were not heard. It is time for the government to assume the responsibility for the catastrophe", it concluded and sent the party's condolences to the families of the victims.
