Dendias receives US Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs Jessica Lewis

Defence Minister Nikos Dendias on Monday met with US Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs Jessica Lewis, Dendias posted on X.

"With Mr. Lewis, who was accompanied by US Ambassador to Greece George Tsunis, we discussed the enlargement and deepening of bilateral Greece-USA strategic defence cooperation and its significance for stability in the wider region," Dendias underlined, adding: "We also exchanged views on the security situation and the recent developments in Ukraine and the Eastern Mediterranean."
