The measure to freeze prices on products whose prices have risen is being extended indefinitely. This was announced by Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos, speaking at the presentation of the annual report of the research body for the Hellenic Confederation of Professionals, Craftsmen, and Merchants (IME GSEVEE) on the green transition in small businesses.

This measure prevents suppliers who have increased prices from offering promotions or discounts for three months. It also applies to all products sold in supermarkets and expires on 31 October 2025.

Theodorikakos also stressed that the government is supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in the green transition and has already reduced the burden on businesses.
