Plevris: 550 departures of migrants planned in the coming days

Migration and Asylum Minister Thanos Plevris, in a post on X on Wednesday, noted that the return of 80 individuals from Syria, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Egypt, and Indonesia was organised in recent days.

At the same time, he added, the first return flight to Damascus in 14 years was carried out through the IOM, while a further 550 departures are planned in the coming days, emphasising that "deportations are our priority."
