Crete: She threw boiling water on her little boy for 9 days
Doctors were shocked with what they saw after mother and stepfather argued that they threw hot water on their little boy.
What happened yesterday morning in the village of the Skourvoula of the municipality Faistos in Heraklion Crete doesn't fit in a human's mind. A 2.5 years boy died because his mother and his stepfather threw hot water on him.
The doctors "froze" at the sight of the dead boy
The child, dead and frozen, was transferred yesterday at 07.45 am, by the Bulgarian mother to the Moiras Health Center, where it was proven that it had burns on his body. Burns likely to be caused before days from hot water, while the child unfortunately did not survive. Doctors and the Director of the Health Center immediately realized that something very strange had happened, a martyr's death at the hands of his mother and stepfather, so they immediately alerted the police. The mother and her partner were detained in a local police station and the coroner will examine the lifeless body of the child.
Hot water on the boy for 9 days
According to irakliolive.gr, mother admits she threw hot water on the back of the child for at least the last eight days. When the child's back filled with severe burns she didn't go to the doctor, but put ointments to heal the wounds on the child's back. Her friend, for his part, argues inter alia that the child stumbled into a bucket of hot water, while the police so far can't make a clear conclusion on what happened.
