«June may prove to be a very important month for Greece, because it can - and we are working for this - bring a solution to the FYROM name issue in a positive way for its national interests, a package to exit the memorandum and debt relief», European Parliament vice-president Dimitris Papadimoulis said on Friday in an interview with Alpha 989 radio station.
«We are very close to an agreement on the Skopje name issue, but we don't have an agreement yet», he underlined and estimated that if it is achieved with a compound name - erga omnes - along with institutional changes, it will be an agreement that implements Bucharest's line and supports Greece's national interests.
