Six dead, 10 injured after van full of migrants comes off road; three children killed
Six people were killed, including three children, and 10 were injured when their vehicle crashed on the Egnatia Highway in northern Greece, early on Friday morning.
A small van carrying irregular migrants from Iran veered out of control, passed over the central reservation barrier separating the opposing lanes then fell off the road, crashing onto rocks at great speed.
The injured, three of which are in very serious condition, were taken to Kavala General Hospital. The Kavala traffic police are investigating the precise causes of the accident.
