Easter Sunday reminders for travel, family gatherings, curfew
IN TIME

People travelling on Orthodox Easter Sunday should make use of number 6 (on the list of 6 reasons to leave a home) when sending the required text message to number 13033, Deputy Minister for Civil Protection and Crisis Management Nikos Hardalias said this past week.

Travel outside of prefectures is still forbidden, with documented exceptions.

On Easter Sunday alone, two families of up to 9 people may gather inside a home for the traditional meal, or 12 in outdoor spaces. Hardalias also recommended the use of a self-test for those intending to visit.

As a reminder, curfew through Easter Sunday starts at 22:00 and ends at 05:00 on Easter Monday, when it reverts to 21:00-05:00.
