Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew expresses support for medical staff during pandemic
Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew led the liturgy of Resurrection at midnight on Orthodox Holy Saturday, at the courtyard of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Istanbul.
In a public message, the ecumenical patriarch expressed his support of people impacted by the pandemic, and especially "those in research and hospital facilities who are sacrificing themselves to help all of us, in order for humanity to overcome this tough trial".
