Two inmates escape from Korydallos prison
Two Albanian nationals serving sentences for theft and robbery escaped from Korydallos Prison by cutting through the bars in their cell window, authorities announced on Wednesday.
The inmates climbed out of the window into the prison yard and then used a hook and a makeshift rope to scale the prison’s perimeter wall.
An investigation is underway to determine how the two prisoners were able to effect their escape.
