Greek immigrant donated 1,5 million dolars to a nursing home
A 90 years old Greek immigrant donated 1, 5 million dollars to nursing homes, for a new wing for patients with multiple sclerosis.
It is the biggest amount of money that has been given to “Frontida” nursing home. According to AMPE, the 90 years old Nikos Vournazos, born in Aigialeia, left Greece and ended up in Australia, in order to make money.
But at the age of 90, he gave a huge amount of money in Greek charity organization.
Moreover, he was a member of EAM during German occupation
