PM Mitsotakis meets NATO chief Stoltenberg
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will meet at 10:30 on Tuesday morning with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Athens, in the aftermath of a military de-confliction mechanism the alliance set up between Greece and Turkey.
The meeting at Maximos Mansion will be followed by a press conference.
Stoltenberg is also expected to meet with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, and of National Defence, Nikos Panagiotopoulos. The meeting will focus on the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean, the reflection process for the future of the Alliance, as well as other issues of mutual interest, according to a foreign ministry statement.
At 12:00, he will meet with President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou, at the presidential mansion.
On Monday, he visited Ankara, where he met with Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu and other senior government officials.
