The Lycabettus Run is already an established popular and mass sports institution in Athens, in which more than 6,000 athletes from Greece and abroad participated in previous years, GNTO underlined. The race has been held every year since 2015, with the exception of last year due to the pandemic, around and inside the green hill of Lycabettus. The event includes races on an asphalt surface 5.5 km and 11 km long, races on the dirt paths of the hill, 4.5 km and 9.0 km long, as well as a relay race on asphalt (11 km - 2 X 5.5 km).

Starting times are at 10:00 for the two Road Runs (asphalt, 5.5 km and 11 km), as well as the Relay race (asphalt, 2 x 5.5 km), and at 10:05 for the two Trail Runs (dirt, 4.5 km and 9 km).

The previous Lycabettus Run, held in 2020, won the bronze (bronze) award in the Running & Live Well category of the Best Sports Events section at the "Sports Marketing Awards 2020".
