Hurriyet: Ankara doesn’t want to teach the Koran in Greek
Circles of Ankara and of the Muslim minority in Western Thrace react to teaching the Quran in Greek language; they want to impose identification of all members of the minority, who are Greek citizens with three different relations with Turkey, through the use of the Turkish language!
The Bursa version of Hurriyet reports that the President of the Bursa branch of the Solidarity Association of Turks in Western Thrace Moustafaoglou spoke in a meeting for the 40 years of the organization. There he verbally attacked Greece saying that Greece is playing a "dangerous game" with the efforts in Western Thrace to teach the Koran using Greek language, in times when the relations are good. He added, revealing the Ankara's positions that Greece is trying to prevent the comfortable use of the Turkish language, as if he was talking about... a province of Turkey!
