Military aircraft will participate in March 25th parade
The armed forces will parade on the occasion of the national day of March 25, 1821.
Motorized transport, aircraft and helicopters of the three levels of the Armed Forces will join the established parade of dismounted soldiers. All instruments are equivalent to that paraded in Thessaloniki, during the celebration of 28 October 1940.
Competent sources of Defense commented on the cost of the participation, saying that motored forces are already in Attica, where they are used in training exercises. The low cost, as the same sources specify, is covered by the normal operating funds. As for aircraft and helicopters, the same sources add, they are within the six-month program for training-maintenance and therefore don't need further flight operations.
