Answer of Russia for the 'sanctions' of the Americans
Russia responded to the sanctions imposed by the U.S. announcing that it will refuse entry into its territory in nine U.S. officials and MPs and warned the West that will reciprocate "in any hostile action."
"For there to be no doubt: in any hostile action we will respond in a similar way," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, noting that he had warned Washington that sanctions "would backfire."
"We constantly warned that the imposition of sanctions is a double-edged knife and would hurt the United States itself", says the ministry and characterizes this way of reaction as "counterproductive".
The list of Russian sanctions included nine persons who are prohibited in the following entry in Russia. These are three advisors of President Barack Obama, the Caroline Atkinson, Daniel Pfeiffer and Benjamin Rodes , the head of the Democrats in the Senate Harry Reid , the leader of Republicans in the House of Representatives John Bener , the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Senate Robert Menendez and senators John McCain , Mary Landry and Daniel Coates.
The American MPs and senators on their side almost immediately, stated that felt "proud" that were the target of Russia's sanctions, because they offered their support in Ukraine.
"I am proud I've been sanctioned by Putin. I will never cease my efforts and my commitment to the freedom and independence of Ukraine, which includes the Crimea also", McCain wrote in his account on Twitter. McCain recently visited Kiev, headed a delegation of USA MPs.
"If support for democracy and sovereignty of Ukraine means that Putin will impose me sanctions, all good" was the reaction of Menendez, also on Twitter.
"I am proud to be included in the list of those who have the will to stand up against the aggression of Putin," he said from the side of John Boehner.
