They transformed Greece into a copy of a "civilized" western country
We deliver to our children Greece of poverty and misery; of forfeiture and depression; Greece of defeatism and obscurantism.
Greece of the values and traditions, Greece of culture, arts and sciences, Greece of orthodoxy, family, and above all the love for the homeland...
This Greece we inherited, but let's ask ourselves, what Greece we deliver to our children?
Greece of poverty and misery, Greece of forfeiture and depression. Greece of defeatism and obscurantism. Greece of atheism which some impose as a trend, Greece of infidelity and divorce. Greece with low birth rates, the deaths now exceed annual births. A globalized Greece which does not recognize borders and must be unfortified against the drug barons and the illegal immigration. Greece without thinking, without perspective, without voice. Greece, which ceased claiming and fighting for a better future.
For the sake of our children, of the next generation, of the next generations.
How can this happen, since there is neither vision nor goal.
How to occur when corruption, easy enrichment, wrong standards have fully disorient our lives?
How to occur when the goal of life was the best house, the best car, the best cottage, the second car, house with swimming pool ...
Materials, transient luxury and nothing else!
All that, which in the end will stay here ... But that is enough to sent us into a permanent hibernation, the consequences of which we will see the day when we will wake up from oblivion ... But then perhaps it is going to be too late!
An oblivion in which our only concern is the removal of religious teaching in schools, the sexual liberation of young, defending the rights of the few against the many, the fear to be called a racist because they you not agree with the image of two men that are kissing mouth, the keyhole scandals of any "prominent" member of this society etc…
Greece was many times been in poverty due to the continual wars which had resulted in a daily battle for Greeks to secure the absolutely essential goods for survival.
But even in the most difficult periods for the nation, Greece had not lost the spirit, the faith, the values and ideals, the culture, the vision, the love for the motherland.
Let's wake up as there is still time. We have already hear the first alarm bells ringing.
It's time to come out of hibernation, although we're late already.
It's time for us to take things under our control, wiser from the criminal mistakes of the recent past but also inspired by the great moments of our nation, to lift the banner of “revolution”!
Naturally, we do not mean to declare war literally; but to declare war on the evil side of ourselves, in idleness, to complacency, to misery, to disinformation and to those serving the foregoing.
Only then will we be ready to respond appropriately as Greeks, to all those who impinge directly or indirectly, with fraudulent or obvious purposes the sovereignty of our country.
Only then, we will be ready to pass on to future generations with pride, which we received from the past, built with toil and blood.
Only then can we say that we were born and lived as Greeks!
And not to forget...
People without historical memory, are doomed to relive their tragedies!
