March 25th: Photos of shame from the school parade
Next year even less!
We couldn't imagine that someone ought to get an invite in order to follow closely the parades of proud students for the March 25th anniversary. However, two years ago, after what happened on October 28th in Thessaloniki, the organizers decided to solve the problem by introducing "private" parades.
So today during a student parade in Athens the relatives of students failed to get close and admire their children marching out of the Parliament. This right was for the few and only for those who had invitations and accreditations. Even the Metro station was closed in the Constitution, so people could not reach the center of the city.
The image of Greek children seeing strong police forces, when they marched in Athens and throughout Greece, only causes grief. Most users refer to normality in social networks, not about student or military parades, but about police parades...
