Eight refugees rescued from fire in Lavrio reception centre
Eight people, including a child, were rescued by the Fire Brigade in a refugee reception centre in Lavrio, when a fire broke out shortly after midnight.
All of them were transferred to the nearby health centre for precautionary reasons. According to sources, they are in good health.
Five firefighters with two vehicles operated in the area.
The Fire Brigade is investigating the cause of the blaze.
