High amount of rain expected from early Monday may be dangerous
The severe weather phenomena and the high amount of rain expected to fall in Greece may be dangerous and cause problems, warned the meteo service of Athens National Observatory on Sunday.
IN TIME
The storm Gyrionis, according to the latest forecast, will bring heavy rainfall and rainstorms in the region of Attica and in Athens from early Monday until the evening.
The adverse weather conditions are going to affect Greece with heavy rainfall and gale force southern winds until Tuesday.
On Sunday night and on Monday, the heavy rain front will cross the whole of the country with direction from the west to the east and the phenomena, in some cases, may be accompanied by hail, mostly in the south parts of the country.
