Bill on public assembly and protests passed by Greek parliament
The Greek parliament late Thursday voted in favour of the Citizen Protection Ministry's bill on public assembly, rallies and protests.
The bill was voted by 187 MPs from three parties, out of a total of 188 deputies present, following a roll-call vote.
Votes against were cast by 101 MPs from main opposition SYRIZA, the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) and MeRA25.
