Kefalonia: Earthquake moved Paliki 20cm

The second major earthquake and the aftershocks that followed moved Lixouri, from the peninsula of Paliki.

Greek scientists came to that conclusion, studying the satellite data.

Specifically, the satellite TerraSAR, which passes over the area, every 11 days, showed that Lixouri had moved 20 cm.

The data of TerraSAR showed a significant ground distortion at the peninsula of Paliki, and less in Argostoli.
