Kefalonia: Earthquake victims have to abandon «El.Venizelos»
The Anek ship "Eleftherios Venizelos", which housed more than 1,000 earthquake victims daily, departs from the port of Argostoli, where it remained for six weeks.
Yesterday, February 26, occupants of the ship where asked to prepare for disembarkation.
After this decision, authorities of the Ionian Islands are trying to find a solution for housing those, who have their houses damaged by the earthquake.
Some of them will be transferred to the other ship which remains to the port of Lixouri, while others have to rent a house with a rent subsidy.
