Mitsotakis: I want a clear victory for New Democracy

"Mr. Tsipras knows very well that he will lose these elections and he realises that it is the first time after four years that the Greek citizens will vote.

It will be a verdict for the government as a whole. I think it will be a vote that rewards New Democracy," main opposition leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Tuesday in an interview with SKAI radio.

Mitsotakis expressed the hope that there will be a clear victory for New Democracy so that there is no doubt "we are going through a political change."

"It will be the first time that the citizens will have the chance to send a message of disapproval to the government," he underlined.

Moreover, he explained that the issue of the seven-day work week has been mistranslated, adding that he referred to Papastratos Tobacco, where employees work five days and 37 hours per week with better pay.

He also accused the prime minister of arrogance because of his statement that there is no chance SYRIZA will lose the elections.
