Need for major political change mandatory, says ND's Kikilias
New Democracy (ND) shadow defence minister Vassilis Kikilias on Wednesday said that ND's leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis is asking for a strong mandate in the elections on July 7.
"Everyone understands that the current conditions are leading the country to disaster. They understand that it is in their children's interest to return to normality," he said.
Speaking on SKAI radio, he accused Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras of continuing his underground secret deliberations with Turkey without any legitimisation, just days before the country headed to general elections. "That's why the need for a major political change is mandatory," he added.
