New coronavirus: 19 infections and 1 death since Friday, public health agency says

The total number of cases is 3,256, of whom 54.9 pct are men. Of the total, 716 are people who were infected abroad and 1,822 were infected by already known cases. The source of infection for the rest is unknown.

Nine Greeks are intubated in hospitals, and their average age is 71 years; most have an underlying condition or are aged 70+.

With the last death, the total number of fatalities is 190. The majority of patients had some underlying condition and/or were aged 70+.

Some 278,895 diagnostic tests for Covid-19 have been carried out in Greece since January 1, of which 5,287 (1.9 pct) were positive. The total numbers include repeat tests for individuals.
