Delivery and courier workers to carry out motorcade in Athens on Thursday
Employees that use motorcycles, such as delivery workers, couriers and external errand staff, will carry out a protest motorcade on Thursday to support their strike action, starting at Pedion tou Areos Park at 11:00.
The primary union, representing staff that drive motorcycles, said their demands included the universal application of a 2019 law that lists the occupation as heavy and unhealthy work for pension purposes and the creation of a single job description for all workers that drive motorcycles as part of their job.
