Three young males arrested for trying to set fire at a park in Perama
Three young males were arrested on Sunday morning by the Fire Brigade of Piraeus for attempted arson at a glade in Perama, a neighborhood west of the port city.
The three - aged 21, 16 and 17 - were found trying to set on fire pine needles, papers and wood at various parts of the park at 07:00 in the morning. The residents called the authorities and the fires were put out immediately.
The investigating prosecutor has been briefed.
A government order has forbidden access to all parks and forested areas nationally through Monday.
