Athens metro station 'Megaro Moussikis' shut down on Sunday
The "Megaro Moussikis" station on the Athens metro was shut down as of 12:00 noon on Sunday, as part of security measures related to the visit of the Pope of Rome to Greece.
On Saturday, three metro stations were shut down after the arrival of Pope Francis. The three stations were reopened in the evening.
The pope, who is wrapping up a three-day visit on Monday, is scheduled to lead a Divine Liturgy at the Athens Concert Hall at 16:45 on Sunday.
