Plevris: Claims that ICU beds are held in reserve insult doctors
"Anyone who claims that ICU beds are being held in reserve for specific people, insults doctors and nurses, and as a minister I will not allow it," Health Minister Thanos Plevris said on Saturday from Patras.

He pointed out that 1,300 ICU beds are available today compared to 550 beds recently.
Referring to the pandemic in general, in view of the holidays, the minister stressed the need to increase vaccinations.
Plevris also referred to the programme of strengthening the National Health System with the recruitment of doctors, nurses and other medical staff.
