Names and photos of suspects in Thessaloniki murder by football hooligans to be released
The Thessaloniki public prosecutors' office on Thursday agreed to allow the release of the names and photographs of the 12 suspects for the murder of a 19-year-old by football hooligans, at the request of the Thessaloniki police.
The order will apply for two months and the aim is to allow their possible recognition by other victims of hooligan violence.
Meanwhile, a Thessaloniki court has convicted the 12 suspect arrested in connection with the case, aged 22, to six months imprisonment for a knife found in his car, the third vehicle involved in the incident.
