Euro elections 2014-Samaras: "I haven't forgotten what I owe to Greek people"

"A lot happened in the last two years, the country to the brink, but we are now coming out from the memorandum and from the crisis," Antonis Samaras mentioned and continued against SYRIZA saying: "They challenged the surplus and the reducing of unemployment, but we achieved these with sacrifices. Some don't want us to escape. Some don't want to get out of the crisis. I won't let them turn back the country". "They want to overthrow the government.

Why? Now that we are at the most critical point? Now that we're going to adjust debt at the end of summer?" he asked and added: "Why do they want to create uncertainty? Why don't they want to dislodge the country from crisis? They resisted all reforms. We skipped them and continued. They were dashed in every case". "We refuted them again, there will be no memorandum or new measures" he continued adding that Greece can only go ahead and estimated that people don't want early elections.

Elsewhere in his speech, he said: "We are told that they will tear memorandum. I rip it every minute for two years, so we won't need anyone. Greece will only go ahead. I understand your heartache Tsipras, what will you do now without a memorandum?" addressing the opposition leader and added that SYRIZA uses gibberish views and is a "merchant of human suffering".

He also referred to the recommendations of the Constitutional Review and the relief measures taken by the government and promised to continue with other similar measures that will benefit all of Greece. He also promised that "by the end of June healthcare to all unemployed and free expensive drugs". They are begging for votes from Golden Dawn, such misery is incredible, but growth will eliminate the populists: "I don't forget what I owe to Greek people and I don't distribute money we don't have".

Implicitly he railed against the Secretary General of Income Haris Theoharis saying that it was wrong for tax mechanisms to chase with same way people, who don't have money, with those who have and don't pay promising to remedy these injustices. The Prime Minister mentioned the upgrading of Greece by Fitch saying that now we only have upgrades: "We are interested in householders, those who want to work and don't work" and addressed the crowd and saying: "We are making a New Greece and ask for the support of the people". Only an accident can turn back Greece and SYRIZA is one such accident the Prime Minister added and asked concluding his speech: "Do you want to cause elections? You decide. I showed you all the dilemmas, but the country can't turn back. Let's go for the top on Sunday".
