Digital Policy Min Pappas: Viability of channels is secured through investments
The owners of television channels must understand that the viability of the channels will be secured through investments rather than through layoffs, Minister for Digital Policy Nikos Pappas said on Thursday in an interview with 'Efimerida Ton Syntakton' newspaper.
Pappas underlined that the 250 million euros raised from the tender for the TV licences was what rendered it successful.
On the Eurogroup agreement, he said that it meets the government's political targets because it clearly defines the medium term measures on the debt that will be implemented after the end of the programme.
Regarding Greece's return to the markets, Pappas said that the decision will be taken without haste and in a structured way.
